Product Description

Oxyfluorfen 2.5% and Glyphosate 41% is a suspension concentration containing Oxyfluorfen 2.5% (a.i.) and Glyphosate 41% (a.i.) in the formulation. It is used for the control of Ageratum conyziodes, Cyperus spp., borreria hispida, Paspalum conjugatum, Digitaria ciliaris on Tea.

Recommendation

Direction of Use

The required quantity of ready mix chemical Oxyfluorfen + Glyphosate need to be diluted in water and sprayed by using hand operated knapsack sprayer fitted with flood jet nozzle with spray volume @ 500 l/ha. Time of Application For best results apply when weeds are actively tract. Plant Protection Equipment: knapsack sprayer fitted with flood jet nozzle

Precaution

1. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.

2. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.

3. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.

4. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.

5. Wash contaminated skin and clothes after use.

Symptoms Of Poisoning

May cause irritation to eyes, skin &respiratory tract.

First Aid

1. If skin is contaminated remove clothing and wash skin thoroughly with soap and plenty of water.

2. If swallowed induce vomiting by tickling the back of the throat. Repeat till vomit fluid is cleared.

3. If eyes are affected, flush the eyes with plenty of fresh water.

4. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Phytotoxicity

The product is not phytotoxic when used as per recommendation.

Antidote

No specific antidote is known, Treat symptomatically.

Disposal Of Used Container

1. The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.

2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.

3. Disposal of used packages, surplus material and washings from the insecticides should be disposed off in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution.

Storage Conditions

1. The packages containing the insecticides shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly food articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key, depending on the quantity and nature of the insecticide.

2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticides shall be well-lit, well built, dry ventilated and of sufficient dimensions to avoid contamination with vapour
