Product Description

Acetamiprid 0.4% + Chlorpyrifos 20% EC is a pre-mix emulsifiable concentrate containing acetamiprid a.i. @ 4 gm per lit and Chlorpyrifos a.i. @ 200gm per lit formulation. It is recommended for the control of stem borer, Brown Plant Hopper and White Backed Plant Hopper in Rice.

Recommendation

Direction of Use

Plant Protection equipment: It is recommended to use Knapsack sprayer or motorized knapsack sprayer fitted with high or low volume nozzle. Take the measured quantity of insecticide and add to it a small quantity of water, mix thoroughly and then add remaining quantity of water. Stir well to form a ready to use spray. Do not spray against the wind. The product is toxic to birds, fish & honey bees and avoid spraying during foraging time on crops

Precaution

1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal food.

2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.

3. Avoid inhalation of the spray mist.

4. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.

5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.

6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.

7. Do not spray against the wind. Symptoms Of Poisoning Nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach-ache, blurred vision, sweating, excessive lacrimation and salivation may occur.

First Aid

1. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water.

2. If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.

3. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air.

4. If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomit is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious. Get medical help immediately.

Antidote

There is no specific antidote. Treat symptomatically.

Disposal Of Used Container

1. Empty containers shall be broken and buried away from habitation.

2. The used containers or packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.

3. The packages or surplus materials and washing from the machines and containers should be disposed off in safe manner so as to prevent environmental water pollution.

Storage Conditions

1. The packages containing the insecticide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles or shall be kept in separate almirah under lock and key.

2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well built, dry, well-lit, ventilated and of sufficient dimensions to avoid contamination with vapou
